Support during COVID-19

Hey it’s Charlie here.

I know things are overwhelming at the moment and there is so much uncertainty… staying in our homes can mean being made even more vulnerable as well. Limiting social contact is also so tough on our mental health,  so it's really important we find ways to still have connection. We have been thinking at Undiscussable of how we can help... we want you to know that you aren’t alone although this time may feel very lonely ... we are going to share stories, give expert advice and coping mechanisms for victims and survivors of domestic abuse and people struggling with their mental health.

We would love you to send us a voice note, if you feel safe too, share with us what you are going through or ask a question, we would like to be able to use your note in our recording but only with your permission. We will also do a select amount of Skype sessions and bring experts on board - we will record this so that it can help others but again only with your permission - and we can also hide or change names.

Please get in contact with us on email - send your voicenotes, questions you’d like answered and if you would like us to Skype you to  undiscussablepodcast@gmail.com - we will do our best to get back to everyone that contacts us. We can get through this together. In the meantime remember it is normal in a situation like this to feel anxious and scared - recognising and acknowledging how you feel will help you manage these emotions, try and focus on something you can control right now even if it's small.

Speak soon.
